My church didn't know of the abuse, but they embraced me and my child with open arms without a second thought. Maybe it was because of the fact it was a smaller church, I never felt as though people were whispering behind my back. I thank them for the love they showed us, but I know in some churches people are being judged. In fact, my old pastor's son had a daughter out of wedlock and for the longest time he and his wife had nothing to do with the granddaughter. However, when she started walking and talking, and resembling their son, they couldn't help, but to forgive him and welcome the little lady into the church.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
